kho chang

The first official mini-vacation, due to a buddhist festivity Makha Bucha, was greeted with great joy at Accademia Italiana - especially as far as the "professors" are concerned. So much for the accademic seriosity...

The BalkanCoalition (Slovenka Lucija+Makedonka Iskra+MakedonskiAlbanac Ngadhnjim) decided to take a trip to Thailand's second biggest island, Kho Chang, which is situated going EastSouth from BKK, close to Cambodian border.

Kho Chang is a part of the Mu Ko Chang Marine National Park. Until the mid-1980s the island was totally undeveloped, but the tourism has significantly increased and consequently influenced it since then.

Nevertheless, we were really lucky with the choice of the beach - there's plenty of them along the island and we have somehow landed on a very isolated one; very few tourists, totally relaxed bungalow caretakers, cheap accomodation, great food, coconut palmtrees above our heads while lying on a whitesand beach...highly recommended! TEZAK ZIVOT...
